Charlotte Mitchell is National Grid's Chief Planning Officer. Charlotte oversees a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure projects which are critical to decarbonisation, national energy security and affordability. She leads a dedicated Consents team, working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure strategic alignment across National Grid’s dynamic portfolio. Charlotte collaborates closely with the government on planning reform and policy issues, working to establish a strong foundation for National Grid’s projects which are of critical importance to unlocking economic growth and keeping the lights on.
