Amy is a chartered town planner with wide ranging experience in infrastructure, commercial and residential property development.  She has over 22 years’ experience gained in planning/environmental consultancy and property agency.  Her planning experience includes the preparation, submission and management of applications for planning permission and development consent, appeals and Development Plan representations.

Amy has appeared at Development Plan and Development Consent Order (DCO) Examinations, and Compulsory Purchase Order Public Inquiries, and now provides training on being an expert witness for all those involved in DCO Examinations in WSP.  She was the lead planner on one of the first highways Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) (A30 Temple to Higher Carblake Improvement Scheme) and has worked on over 20 DCO applications in the last 12 years either in a lead role or as an reviewer/advisor, including leading on ten Examinations. She also provides training on the DCO process for colleagues and clients, and has undertaken a secondment for National Highways in a DCO advisor role. Amy has also led development, with colleagues, of a DCO Manual for WSP employees using lessons learned to share knowledge of the process.
