Sandie Forte-Gill

Director of Regional Investment Programme – North
National Highways

Sandie Forte-Gill has a wealth of experience in leading and delivering highways programmes. She spent over a decade in consultancies, building her skills as a civil engineer and project manager on highways and transportation schemes for local authority clients before moving to the public sector.

During her time at National Highways, she has overseen the organisation’s Major Projects construction programme across the North of England, led the response to the Project Speed challenge. She is currently Director for the Regional Investment Programme in the North, leading a team of project delivery professionals and supply chain partners to develop and construct a £7bn portfolio of 20 NSIP enhancement schemes from Birmingham up to the border with Scotland.

Sandie is committed to working closely with regional and national stakeholders to ensure the capital programme maximises the economic and strategic benefits for the northern regions.
